Got a new book out…here’s the scoop:
Three years ago Tom Miller lost his entire family to a brutal serial killer. Now drowning in alcohol and haunted by the ghosts of his past, he decides one night to finally end it all.
But when he sees the face of a murdered little girl on the evening news, Tom thinks he might know who the killer is. Desperate to stop the next murder before it happens, Tom mounts his own investigation—and quickly finds himself in over his head.
When the next little girl goes missing, Tom will have to come to terms with his past and face his demons in order to track down a monster. But with time running out and his leads falling short, his chances at finding the killer are quickly diminishing.
Along with a child’s chances for survival.

Beyond the Badlands, the second installment in my Badlands Series, is now available in ebook and paperback.
Here’s the gist:
Who survived The Badlands to make it to the city by the river? Was the city truly a safe haven, or just another dead end teeming with hordes of the infected? What else is in store for those who survived?
In the dramatic second installment of Into the Badlands, the fate of the survivors and the truth about the city by the river is finally revealed. For some the journey has ended, but for those who remain, surviving the end of the world will be only the beginning.

The followup to my 2011 post-apocalyptic thriller Into the Badlands is undergoing a final proofread as we speak. I expect to get it back next week, after which I’ll fix any errors and then give the thing a final read through.
If all goes well, I’ll publish on or before December 1, 2013. Beyond the Badlands will be published through my LLC, available first as an ebook from all major ebooksellers. A paperback edition will follow.

I’m happy to announce that I recently published a collection of short horror stories. It weighs in around 56,000 words (approximately the length of a short novel). This is particularly rewarding since some of these stories and ideas are ten or fifteen years old and are finally now seeing the light of day. I had a lot of fun writing and publishing this. So if horror is your thing, you might want to check it out. It’s available for the Kindle and the Nook eReaders.
I finally finished my novel Into the Badlands. Here’s the blurb:
It’s been three years since a devastating pandemic transformed most of the world’s human population into vicious, wild animals. Ed Brady and his two sons rely solely on each other in order to survive in a world completely devoid of stability and structure. Their goal: reach the city by the river, where they may have some chance of finding salvation.
As they travel across the wasteland that was once the Midwestern United States, they encounter other survivors along the way. As their paths inevitably intertwine, Ed must remain steadfast that his sworn mission to see that his boys know safety and happiness is not compromised. Surrounded by the constant threat of attack by infected humans, can Ed and his sons make it to the city before their luck runs out? And, if they can, what will be waiting for them there when they arrive?
Into The Badlands is a fast-paced, post-apocalyptic thriller that will take readers on a desperate journey for salvation through the wasted remains of a land overrun with the stuff of nightmares.
Into the badlands is 83,000 words/239 pages and is available on the Kindle, the Nook, the Sony eReader, Smashwords, Kobo, and Apple iBooks. Check it out here.
